Privacy policy
HaloSense is an in-development motocross ride capture and review app. This policy explains what information the app may handle during private testing and future app use, and how that information is used.
Information HaloSense may collect
- Ride telemetry such as GPS route, speed, lap timing, acceleration, braking, crash events, and session notes.
- Device information such as connected Halo hardware identifiers, Bluetooth connection status, signal details, and battery-related telemetry.
- Account information if you create an account or use cloud-backed features, such as email address, display name, rider profile, and authentication records.
- Optional health or sensor data if you enable supported integrations, such as heart rate during a ride session.
- Support information you send directly, including messages, screenshots, or troubleshooting details.
How information is used
HaloSense uses ride and device data to record sessions, show ride status, calculate lap and route review, support connected hardware, sync selected data when enabled, and troubleshoot issues.
Sharing
HaloSense does not sell personal information. Data may be shared only when needed to operate app features you choose to use, provide support, comply with legal requirements, or protect the service and users.
Location data
Location is central to route capture and lap review. Location data is used to display and analyze ride sessions. You can control location permissions in iOS Settings.
Retention and control
Local ride data remains on your device unless you choose features that sync or upload data. You can delete local sessions in the app where supported, and you can request account or support-data deletion by contacting support.
Children
HaloSense is not intended for children to use without appropriate parent or guardian involvement, especially when ride telemetry, location, or account features are enabled.
